Volume Application
If the client has thin hair and they want fuller hair, they will need a “volume” application. A typical client will use one or two sandwich(s) on each side of the head and one or two sandwich(s) on the back of the head. Use your professional judgment when deciding the placement and how many extensions will be needed to get the desired result.
- Length and Volume installation option 1:
- Install the bottom row of 3 tabs in the nape area.
- Install the second to last row of 4 tabs just behind the ears making sure the tabs are laid out in a bricklayer pattern on top of the previous section.
- Install the third row of 5 extensions two inches above to ear connecting in the back center of the head.
- Install the fourth row of 6 extension taps starting at the parietal on both sides of the head, remembering that each row is laid in a bricklayer pattern on top of the previous row to ensure coverage.
- Install the top row of 2 extensions just above the temple region to add fullness to the hairline.
