Have every client or model sign a waiver and consultation form before beginning treatment. It is best that they initial a consent to be a model if you are un-certified waiving all rights to the outcome of the procedure. This should be done on your company letter head or if working for a company they should have this in place for you. You can make your own notes on these forms to reference back regarding to your specific lash choice any concerns etc. pertaining to this client. See page 12 and 13 for an example.
No stylist should ever be working without insurance under any circumstances. Insurance is based upon your unique situation and while Luxy Beauty can recommend companies; ultimately, it is up to you as the stylist to secure insurance for their own entity. Be mindful to have quotes based on both general and professional liability as only having one or the other can leave you liable.
