Where to implant pigment :
The Sweet Spot
We are implanting pigment just below the top layer or dead layer in both the epidermis and upper portion of the dermis the total thickness is 1mm but we are only working between .25mm – .5mm maximum
How To Identify The Sweet Spot :
YOU WILL NEVER SEE BLOOD! Seeing blood means you are too deep and have nicked the vessels located in the subcutaneous layer. You should see pixilation. The eyelid is still and not twitching otherwise you are too deep. There should be nothing but minor swelling or bruising. If you see blood bring the depth down immediately before proceeding.
Eye lining is awkward but not terribly painful. The most sensitive area is the lash line. The client should feel comfortable. YOU SHOULD FEEL A LOW, STEADY AND CONSTANT VIBRATION IN YOUR STRETCHING HAND AT ALL TIMES. WHILE THE NEEDLE IS WORKING IN THE SKIN. NEVER TATTOO THE WATER LINE.
