- Tape-in Extensions
Tape Extensions are made of thin strips of clear polyurethane with hair attached and taped on one side. They are usually 1 1/2” wide. Tape-in extensions are attached to the hair by sandwiching the client’s hair between 2 tape-ins or one tape-in and a piece of single-sided tape. They can be applied higher up the crown than keratin tips and work great when hair is very delicate and has trouble holding other types of extensions. Removal and clean-up can take longer than the original application.
- Fusion Bonds
Fusion bonds are special keratin tips that are applied directly over your natural hair. This process uses a heated clamp to melt the glue and keep the extension in place.
